

Milton Richard Riddick, 74, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in Norfolk. Milton was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Richard and Lucinda Riddick. He is preceded in death by his brother, Sylvester Hunt, sister, Theresa Riddick-Wood, aunts, Margaret Riddick, Jesse May William, and niece Cynthia “Peaches” Spratley. Educated in the Norfolk Public School System, Milton was employed by General Foam Plastics for 38 years until his retirement. Milton was a kind-hearted soul that loved his family dearly and was deeply loved in return. He was a hardworking family-man who enjoyed quality time with his family and particularly cherished spending time with his mother.
Milton leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 43 years, Ramonia; daughter, LaToya “Baby girl” Hinton and sons Martrail Riddick (Beverly “BeBe”), Antoine Riddick (Kenisha), and Eric Riddick; sister, Marian Riden (Reginald), mother and father-in- law, Pearlie and Joseph Brown, Sr.; brothers-in law, Joseph “Junie” Brown, Jr. (Linda), Melvin “Ricky” Brown, William “Hemp” Brown (Tina), sisters-in-law, Deborah “Debbie” Ellis (John), Juanita James, and Vickie “Jewel” Whitehead (Theo); grandchildren, Toy Hinton, Tamera Hinton, Jayquan Hardy, Qunajah Pete, Alexhia Riddick, and Antoine Riddick, Jr. Milton leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, other significant family members and friends to include great and great-great nieces and nephews to treasure his memory.
There will be a visitation from 4-8pm, Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1pm, Monday, September 26, 2022, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will immediately follow the service in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family welcomes guests to a repass held in the Woodlawn Funeral Home Reception Hall.
