Nancy Morgan Leedy

A Norfolk native, Mrs. Leedy was Norfolk’s first flight dispatcher for the Nightingale and served as a paramedic and 911 Dispatcher for the City of Norfolk. She was a lifelong member of Coleman Place Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel B. Garrett and Evelyn Jesse Garrett.

Survivors include her loving husband of twenty-seven years, Joseph B. Leedy; two children, Jennifer Lindley, Clair “Tripp” Morgan, III and wife Cristin Morgan; three step-children, Stacy Reyes, Barbara Ann Holden, Cathy Medlock and their families; five grandchildren, Cody Patrick Lindley, Alexander Garrett Joseph Lindley, Emma Elizabeth Morgan, Henry Gray Morgan and Jack Benjamin Morgan; one great grandson, Ashton Dewayne Lindley and a nephew, Chris Ekornes.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11:30a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
