Norma B. Rouse

Mrs. Rouse worked over 20 years as a private secretary. She graduated from DePaul School of Nursing in 1976, and from Old Dominion University in 1991. After graduation, she devoted her working career to the care of infants at DePaul Hospital and later at Larchmont Baptist Infant Day Care Center. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Richard L. Rouse of Norfolk and Celia Rouse Blalock of Vienna, VA; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and sons, Gerald and Thomas Rouse.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 6400 Newport Ave. in Norfolk, with Father Joe Metzger officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smiles at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6400 Newport Ave., Norfolk, VA 23505.
