Oswald Ozzie Anthony Williams

“Ozzie” as he was affectionately known by his family and friends was born June 28, 1937 to the late Levi Williams and Enid Garrett in Kingston, Jamaica. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant in the MP Company. Ozzie loved all sports and especially loved going to baseball games with his family. Mr. Williams will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish his memory are: devoted wife of 48 years, Miriam Williams; son, Brian Williams and longtime companion Kchella Harold; two daughters: Michelle Lowmack and husband L.V. Lowmack, Jr., Tania Wittmer and husband Walter Wittmer, Jr.; and seven grandchildren: Briana Williams, Kyae Smith, Jay Li, J’Ashanti, Jay Michael Lowmack ;and Lunisha Wittmer. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Me Kia Lowmack

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 6, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
