Rose Marie Cataldo

Rose Marie Cataldo, 83, passed away on August 2nd 2019. Rose was born on December 16th 1935 in Lynn, Massachusetts to parents Michael and Rose Raimo. Rose married the love of her life Vincent “Vin” Cataldo in 1959. Rose and Vin started their life together and moved to Norfolk, VA, where they soon started their family. Rose loved spending time with family and friends! One of her favorite things was to travel on cruises to many different islands. Rose also enjoyed cooking Italian food and hosting Christmas Eve dinner. Rose is preceded in death by her loving husband Vin Cataldo. Left to cherish her memory is Diana (Rick) Burkhart of Waynesboro, GA and Steve (Terri) Cataldo of Virginia Beach, VA. Rose will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren Joe Lucca, Casey and Garrett Cataldo and great-grandchildren Cora and Vincent Lucca. Rose’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Intrepid Hospice caregivers Anita, Janet, Marcia and Blair. A celebration of Rose’s life will take place on August 12th 2019 from 5:00 -8:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Mass will be held on August 13th at 10:00 am at St. Gregory Catholic Church. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens following mass. The family will host a time for fellowship following burial at Woodlawn’s reception room.
