To you and Kays' family and friends I send my sincere condolences and am deeply saddened by the loss of a dear friend. Kay was like a female "Will Rogers" in that she "never met a stranger". She was a loyal and hard worker, a great cook, and has provided me with great memories. The fact that she fought a courageous battle with her illness while keeping in good spirts, and with such dignity is no surprise to me. This was the true Kay.

Kay I will miss you deeply. May God bless you. Rest in peace my friend.

Kay was a pure angel. I will surely miss the late night conversations we had whenever I visited. I am forever grateful for the impact she made in my dad’s life. Because of her he is now a better man.  Kay will be in my heart forever 

My heart broke the day you went home. To think of all the wonderful memories you gave me, I will always cherish! I will miss our conversations and visits so very much! You taught me by your example how to be a better mother, grandmother, friend and person in general. I will not ever forget your friendship, loyalty, your effortless dedication, huge heart, your big bright smile, and your infectious laughter! In the short 12 years I have known you, you changed my life in many ways. Thank you for everything you are, I will miss you forever my girl! However I am grateful you are no longer in pain and you are fliying high with the wings you so deserve!!

Both Patty and I are very sorry to hear this news.  Kay was a wonderful girl, and a great friend to many folks, including us.  We'll be there next Thursday to see you.  If you need anything at all, big or small, please let me know, and I'll make sure it happens.  Until then, we'll keep you in our prayers.

To put into words what you meant to me is so hard because you were everything.  My friend, my confidant and the sister I chose.  You were my family and made me part of yours.  If there were any occasion, my daughter's would ask,  where is Aunt Kay .   You were beautiful inside and out.  I love you with all my heart and you will forever be missed ❤  


Oh Kay i don't know where to begin ... In the beginning i was the new girl and yes sometimes we bumped heads but we always ended up ok ... I learned alot from you esp how to make the best damn deviled eggs ever .... Thank you for that ... You were always kind to me and my kids and that's what made Aaron feel like it was ok to call you mama Kay ... We will miss coming by your house and having a quick chat. ... Fly high .... I know you'll be watching over all of us ... Give all the hugs and love to all that have went before you ... We miss them all ... Until we meet again ... Love and hugs ....💝💝💝💝💝

Kay,  you were the one person that was able to get my brother on track for that I will be forever thankful. You were amazing person and truly will be missed. We love you and are hearts are broken but truly know you fought the fight and did it your way.

Kay, where to even begin! Over the 30+ years of our friendship.  You always had my back, you had everyone’s back. Always there for everyone. I knew if I called at 3am, you would come get me. From being there through all my surgeries, as you sat there with Danny. To being there when cody was born. Such a strong person. You never gave up on anything. It wasn’t your nature. So many memories that I will carry with me. Your love and devotion to your family was a true inspiration. You will be missed so much. I love you my friend. Rest easy now

Kay was such a special person who always made everyone feel welcome and comfortable and had such a big heart for others.  If she knew someone needed something, she immediately did whatever she could to fill that need.   Some of my favorite memories of Kay are walking into a room, making eye contact with her and being greeted by the biggest smile and BEST hug ever... such a strong embrace that just made you feel so loved and like everything was right in the world.  Kay also adopted my children, who only knew her as Mom Mom, and probably still don't know she had a real name.  She always had so much love to give them, always thinking about and including them as if they were her own.  Having lost my own mother and my kids' Mawmaw 6 years ago, I am forever grateful for the constant love, support, and sweet kindness my children got to experience from Mom Mom.  We are all blessed to have known her, will dearly miss her and cannot wait to see her again one day!

I am forever grateful for the day that you and your children dropped into my life.  You were my rock, my voice of reason,  and my total inspiration....   I promise that I will fill your grands with Kay wisdoms and I will love them and hug them bunches.   Thank you for always being you, for the love, the loyalty,  and the steadfast light that you brought to my life and my children's lives every day. You are my soul sister, and I love you more.  Fly high Wonder Woman....❤

Words can't begin to describe the void left in our hearts by the passing of such a beautiful woman. From the first time I met Kay she took me in like her own son and loved me as such. I am so fortunate and blessed to have such a loving, kind and selfless woman in my life that I was able to call Mom.
To my wife, Cheryl: Your mother loved you "to the moon and back." She always joked that her grandchildren were the only reason she called or came to visit, but nothing could be further from the truth. You were her pride and joy. My heart is truly broken, but I hope you can take peace in the fact that YOU were the one lucky enough to have her call you daughter.
To Mom Mom's grandchildren: A father could not ask for more than to see his children showered with unconditional love from their grandmother. Mom Mom's eyes lit up everytime she was with you and she cherished every moment spent with you all. You all were the lights of her life. Kyle, Jake, Haylee, Cameron and Reagan:you have no idea how blessed you are to have had such a loving woman in your corner and you have all gained a guardian angel.
To Mom's friends: From the first time you met Mom she made you feel like you had been friends for years. There is nothing she would not do for any of you. You always had to be careful about what you mentioned you might need because before you knew it she already had the ball rolling to make it happen. Selflessness, loyalty and love is what she gave to those lucky enough to have her in their life. And she loved you all so much.
We are saddened beyond words we can no longer hug, hold, kiss and love on our Mom Mom anymore, but we are so thankful that we have those memories she gave us to cherish forever. We are so proud of her courageous battle with such an unrelenting enemy. From the moment Mom was diagnosed with that horrible disease she looked it in the eye and said you better be ready for a fight cause I am. And fight she did, for those she loved. We love you always and forever!

My Mom Mom was super kind. She always loved me. I loved talking to her in person, but would talk to her on the phone or video calls too. We even made up our own song:
I love you
You love me
That makes us

My Mom Mom was always a joy to be around and every time I got to see her was better and more fun than the last. Whether we were saying hi on the phone or having a face to face conversation, there was always laughs and good times that came out of it. Even though she was taken from us too soon, I will always cherish every moment I had with her. Mom Mom was there for me since I was born and still is even when she passed. She was so special to me and many others. I love you Mom Mom and I can't wait to see you again. 

To me, she was simply "Mom" but she accepted that title from many others. She was a second Mom to all me and Ralph's friends and accepted everyone in. She was the most courageous, loving, hard-working, caring, and beautiful people I've known. 
To my children, she was simply "Mom Mom" and she accepted that title from others outside of her 5 children. 
To so many, she was a friend, a confidant, a sweet soul and a beautiful person. 
Her light shined the brightest and I pray that I can share that light with others, as she did.

Kay never had a harsh word to say about any one. She loved by every one. And a friend to all. We love you and are going to miss you terribly.  You will forever be in our hearts. Could not have ask for better sister-in-law.
