Shirley was a mother to five children and homemaker. She loved collecting antiques, watching Christmas movies, and spending time with the love of her life “KK” Purdy. Shirley is preceded in her death by “KK” and her parents.
Shirley is survived by her five children, John Slate (Roxanne), Gail Slate Lee (Rollie), Brenda Slate, Judy Purdy Ledford (Ronnie), & Kim Purdy Shakallis (Ricky), seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters Norma Ploof and Sue Davis (Steve) and numerous nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held to honor her at 11am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
