He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Cynthia Salas; his son Stephen Salas Jr. and wife Kelley; daughter Shonda Weems; Mother Marian Salas; Sister Sherry Cooper, and brothers Bobby, Paul, Danny and David Salas; step mother Jean Salas; grandchildren Logan Shannon, Kaylee Salas, Kelsey Salas, Gage Weems, Riley Weems, Kayla Shannon, Cierra Lapsansky and Bryce Chapman. He is predeceased by his father Donald Salas, Sr. and his step daughter Kaycee Shannon.
A visitation will be held on Monday August 13, 2012, from 10am to 12pm, and a service will follow at 12pm at Virginia Freewill Baptist Church with interment at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be left for the family at www.woodlawngroup.com
