Susan Gail Simpson

Susan Gail Presley Simpson, 63 was taken by the Lord at home unexpectedly on June 26, 2014. She was survived by her loving husband Bradley Simpson, her children Benjamin Presley Jr. (Meghan) and Heidi Black their father and her close friend Benjamin Presley Sr. and her 3 amazing grandchildren; Timothy Black, Luke Michael Presley, and Sadie Grace Presley. She was also survived by her brother Kenny Smith and her niece Robin Vernon but preceded in death by her brothers Timmy and Sonny Smith. She was an outstanding and loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose heart was bigger than life itself. Susan always put everyone first, making sure that all those around her were happy and taken care of. She loved all of her roles in life, but especially cherished her role as grandma (or Mimi as Luke called her) enjoying every minute of it. She also had a very special love for animals, especially her baby Yorkie Tiffany. The loss of Susan leaves a giant hole in the heart of those who knew her and loved her, and she will be missed dearly by loved ones and friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA.
