The "Red Dragon Band" was a great time for me and the other band mates, loved the way Darrell played those drums! The last time I saw him was at a concert at  ntelo in  Portsmouth, it was real nice to see his warm and  pleasent smile again. He was a great musician and a kind heart person, the world has lost truly one of its best people.

Red Dragon Band had been together about a year before this one night in Hampton, Va.  It was late and the last set but I had to turn around and watch Darryl play, his drumming was unprecedented and my eyes told him so. All he did was look up at me with those big babyblues and smiled that, Darryl Smile.  God blessed me with Darryl to play music in a Rock and Roll band. I am grateful for that experience with Darryl as my drummer, my brother in music and my friend past this lifetime.  love, Jude  (LEAD SINGER)
