William “Bill” Freeman 92, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2015. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 23 years, Donna, 5 sons; Bill, Jr. (Linda), Rob (Sharon), Mark (Chris), Tom (Connie) and Jeff, 3 step-children; John (Angela) Dawn (Rob) and Ken, 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Bill honorably served in the Navy for 24 years. He worked at the Aragona Community Recreation Center for many years. He was an avid sports fan who loved to camp, bowl and travel with his good friends, Rita and Elmer.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on January 30, 2016 at Haygood United Methodist Church. Pastor Tammy Estep will officiate. Following the service will be a reception with burial at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Burial will be with full military honors. Bill will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.
