William "Billy" Sherman Parsons

William “Billy” Sherman Parsons, 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in Norfolk. Billy was born on May 30, 1941 in Roanoke, VA to the late James O’Neal and Helen Parsons O’Neal. Billy is also predeceased by his brother, Bobby L. Parsons, son-in-law, Nicky Musolino and granddaughter, Lindsey Parsons. Billy prioritized his life for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather/Pa-Pa. He graduated from Norview High School, class of 1960. Afterward he later became a Master Carpenter/Owner of Real Estate Business. Billy loved the outdoors, cruises and taking vacations. You would always catch him outside completing various projects. On the weekends he loved spending time with friends and family eating blue crabs. He was also a 33rd Degree Master Mason with the Lynnhaven Lodge 220. He is cherished in memory by his beloved wife, Marjorie Dodd Parsons; son, James “Jimmy” Wesley Parsons and wife, Tammara; daughter, Margie Parsons Musolino; grandchildren, Sidney Pawlicki and her husband, Canaan, Tom Matthews and his wife, Hannah, Kevin DeCarlis and wife, Chelsea, Michael Musolino and Kristen John and Nolan; great grandchildren, Cameron, Thomas, Lillian, Ellie, and Ely. There will be a visitation from 5-7pm, Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11am, Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
