Adelaide M. Karger Jackson, 101 of Norman passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in Noble, OK. She was born on April 7, 1909 in Lowell, AZ to Arthur and Emma Karger. Adelaide went to college at the University of Arizona in Tempe where she got her degree in teaching and taught 35 years. She married Hal Jackson in May 1936 and they were married for 43 years until his death in 1979.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hal Jackson, daughter Ann M. Jackson and parents Art and Emma Karger. She is survived by her son Ray and wife Jane Jackson of Norman, grandsons Michael and wife Michele of Norman, Christopher and wife Cheslea of Norman, and 4 great grandchildren, Philip, Mathew, Greysen, and Mia.
Memorial services are 10:30am Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Chapel in the St. Joseph Parish Family Life Center in Norman. Services are under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service, to leave condolences please visit primrosefuneralservice.com
