Services are scheduled for Thursday September 29, 2011 at 10AM at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman.
JoAnn was born in Lexington, Oklahoma on April 10, 1934 to Jewell and L.D. Holsonbake. She was the sixth child of twelve children.
In 1953 she married Lloyd Baker; together they had three children: Bradley and Karla Baker of Noble, Warren and Jennifer Baker of Ducan, and Barbara and Richard Hartless of Norman. She is survived by her husband Lloyd of the home, 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother , Marlin Holsonbake; sisters, Marcille Blair, Rumell LeCrone , Fredona Rose, Sharon Dickerson, Linda Oliphant, and Janis Tusen. She was preceded in death by her parent; 2 brothers, Lavon and Dwight Holsonbake; 2 sisters, Norma Darling and Jacqueline Holsonbake; and 1 daughter-in-law, Pam Adams Baker.
JoAnn was a devout Christian and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a beautician in Norman and Noble.
Visitation is scheduled for today 8AM to 8PM at Primrose Funeral Service.
