

Dale was born August 28, 1942 in Amber, Oklahoma to Joe Enfield Turner and Gladys Wilkins Turner. He grew up in the Amber area alongside his 11 brothers and sisters, attended school in Middleburg and graduated from Friend High School.
On January 7, 1964, Dale married Linda Davis.
Together they built a life centered on family and hard work and shared 62 years together. They raised their three children, Tina (Wiener), Anthony (Chief) and Gary (Bull).
Dale loved working and rarely slowed down. He was known for his incredible strength, his handshake, and his kindness. His handshake was something people remembered-strong and firm, reflecting the strength he carried throughout his life. But more than that, his handshake was his word. It represented honesty, integrity, and the kind of man people could always count on. Whether helping a neighbor, working alongside family, or lending support to a friend, Dale left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
More than anything, Dale loved his family. His steady presence, strong work ethic, and generous heart will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, infant sister Rhonda and sister Maxine Duncan, brothers, Gary, John, and JC Turner, and grandson Kaden Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home, daughter and son in law, Tina and Michael Johnson, sons and daughter in laws, Chief and Theresa Turner, and Bull and Shayla Turner.Those continuing to honor and remember Dale are his grandchildren Kolten Hootie Johnson, Steven Layman, Jacob Turner, Devon Turner, Chancey De La Cruz, Braden Turner, Cindy Maples, Stephanie MCClellan, Megan Canoy, Cody Perreault, and Jacob Merchant. Dale was also blessed with 21 great grandchildren, other extended family, and many friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tracy Bowling for assisting in his care and being a faithful friend for many years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Amber Pocasset Athletics in Dale's memory.
Billy Dale Turner's legacy lives on in the family he loved, the business he built, and the countless lives he touched through his hard work, kindness and integrity. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Amber on May 25, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, and the Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Amber on May 26, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
Pallbearers will be Bull Turner, Chief Turner, Hootie Johnson, Steven Layman, Braden Turner, Jacob Merchant, and Devon Tuner.
