Brittany grew up in Norman, where she attended Roosevelt Elementary, Whittier Middle School, and Norman North High School before going on to study at the University of Oklahoma. She made Norman her lifelong home, remaining close to family and friends throughout the years.
Music was an important part of Brittany’s world, especially rock, and she loved the vibrant colors of blue as well as crimson and cream, a nod to her OU roots. Her perfect day was simple and meaningful, spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her loving and caring nature, always ready to give people chances and teach those around her something new.
Brittany adored her cat, Luna, who was a constant companion and source of joy. She also treasured her work family at Volare, where she poured her heart into helping transform the restaurant into a popular gathering place for the community. Her dedication and enthusiasm were felt by everyone who walked through its doors.
She is survived by her parents, Bradley and Marla Mosby of Norman; her brother, Eric Alan Mosby of Norman; her partner for many years, Jeff McCalip and her beloved cat, Luna.
A celebration of Brittany’s life will be held on Monday, September 22, at 2 p.m. at McFarlin United Methodist Church in Norman.
The Mosby family are eternally grateful for the First Responders that arrived to attempt to save Brittany's life.
