

Debora Kay Shivers, 57, of Norman, died September 28, 2010 in Norman. Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Primrose Chapel. Chaplain Harry Smith will be presiding over the services. Interment will follow at Norman IOOF Cemetery. Services under the direction of Primrose Funeral Services.
She was born March 23, 1953 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Lt. Col. G.W. Shivers and Mae Tefertiller.
Debora loved bowling and was very artistic. She loved arts and crafts especially jewelry making and sewing. She loved animals, dogs being her favorite. She was a devoted mother and wife. She devoted 29 years of her life working with victims of mental health and substance abuse with The State of Oklahoma. Debbie was a compassionate and loving person, unselfish, giving of herself by caretaking of others.
She is survived by her husband Stephen Lutz; daughter, Nicole Lutz; brother, Jerry Shivers Jr; sister, Dorothy Walos, and her husband Kevin Walos; her nephews, Michael Buckmaster, Jay Buckmaster; nieces, Kim Buckmaster and Kristy McCloud; and great-niece, Austyn Dilks and great-nephew, Logan Buckmaster .
She was preceded by death by both her parents; sister, Alice Shivers-McCloud; and niece, Kathy McCloud.
