Don Wilson Gregory

Don Wilson Gregory was born the third and youngest child of Freeman and Audrey Gregory in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 21, 1954. He unexpectedly departed this life on May 10, 2017 after a brief illness.

Don grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Southeast High School in 1972. In 1979 he met Charlotte Moore and they married one year later in Oklahoma City. They were married for 21 years and they raised three children together, Nicole, Ryan and Kindra. Don’s love for his family was the most important part of his life. He loved his family with all of his heart and he always placed their well-being before his own. He later remarried Charlotte and they enjoyed spending time together at their home in Norman and babysitting for their grandchildren while their parents worked. He also enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and watching his grandsons T-ball games. Don loved to travel to Vegas to have fun but mostly enjoyed being at home spending time with his family. Don was employed by Metal Container in Oklahoma City for the last 31 years.

Don is survived by his wife, Charlotte, his three children, Nicole Lianne Gregory, Ryan Wilson Gregory and Kindra Lianne (Gregory) Palacol, a son in-law, Trey Palacol, his three grandchildren, Drayden Alexander Gregory, Kai Palacol, and Maika Gregory Palacol, his father and mother in-law, Bill and Alice Katona and his brother Roy David Gregory and his wife Dorothea.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman and Audrey Gregory and his sister, Patsy Gregory.

Services will be held on Monday May 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Service, Norman, OK.
