Eileen Virginia Pack passed away Wednesday night in Norman, OK. She was 86 years old. Born in Summersville, MO December 19, 1924 to Oscar and Dora Hines, Eileen was one of five brothers and sisters. A member of The Greatest Generation, Eileen was a real life Rosie the Riveter, working for the war effort in St. Louis on an airplane assembly line. In 1945, she married John Giudice, giving birth to her sons, Gary in 1947 and Ron in 1951. However, it wasn’t until an Arthur Murray dance class almost two decades later that she met the true love of her life, Walter Eugene Pack, and the couple married in Wichita Falls, TX, June 30, 1972. She was a vibrant woman, who loved her pets, her plants, travel (especially cruises), everything outdoors and most of all, her husband of 39 glorious years.
