

He was born to Andrew Risenhoover and Minnie Risenhoover on June 9, 1934 in Bristow, Oklahoma.
Ellis was proceeded in death by a son at birth, both parents, grandparents, and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Jean Risenhoover of Lexington, OK. Son LaGene Risenhoover and wife Melodi Risenhoover of Lexington, OK. Daughter Brenda Adams and husband Matt Adams of Platte City, MO.
He is also survived by 1 grandson Brandon Risenhoover and wife Melissa of Germany. Granddaughter Shannon Rainbow and husband Lance Rainbow of Noble, OK. Granddaughter Lauren Manry and husband Stephen Manry of Noble, OK. Granddaughter Madison Risenhoover of Noble, OK and granddaughter Logan Bidack of Noble, OK. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 sister Lois Cline of Corpus Cristi, TX.
Ellis entered into marriage with Jean Risenhoover on November 12, 1955.
Ellis received his Masters degree from The University of Central Oklahoma, and went on to teach school for 30 years.
In 1971 he surrendered to the ministry and became an ordained minister through the Southern Baptist Church and preached for 30 years while teaching school at the same time.
After retiring from teaching and the ministry, they moved to the Lexington area, when he began working for the East Side Walmart in Norman , OK, where he worked in the sporting goods area for 14 years up until 6 months ago.
Ellis loved to hunt quail, run his bird dogs, fish, and tinkering with anything out in his work shop. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
When Ellis passed from this earth, he was going to do what he enjoyed the most, and that was to go worship his Lord and Savior. He is now in the presence of the Lord, and worshiping Him from now and throughout eternity.
