She was born June 14, 1956 in Grand Junction, Colorado and later she made her home in Denver and Aurora, Colorado. After moving to Norman, she was employed at Sitel as a customer service representative.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Lola Bishop of Grand Junction and her former husband, John Beckner of Grand Junction. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family: daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea and Michael Baessler; Jennifer Beckner and her fiancé, Aric Balmos; and her four precious grandchildren, Emily and Joey Baessler, Lindon Knight and Acacia Balmos, all of Aurora, Colorado. She is also survived by three siblings, Bruce Bishop and his wife Kathy of Grand Junction, Letha Huddleston and her husband Ken of Norman, and Gary Bishop and his wife Gina of Columbus, Ohio, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be held On Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., at the Heather Gardens Country Club located at 2889 South Heather Gardens Way, Aurora, Colorado, 80014. The family wishes to express its deepest thanks to the compassionate staff of Faith Hospice in Norman and Integris Hospice in Oklahoma City.
