Gregory Michael Rosino, beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend of Oklahoma City, went to be with the Lord after a short illness on July 4, 2021 surrounded by his family in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 34. He was born March 6, 1987, in Chesapeake, Virginia, to Paul Joseph Rosino and Stephonie Kathleen Rosino.
Gregory grew up in a Navy family, finally settling in Oklahoma City in 1995. He graduated from Westmoore High School in 2005. Gregory met his wife Krystale Rosino in 2005. They fell in love and married June 19, 2010. He was a man who loved and cherished his wife, but like all marriages, their challenges were many and they never wavered on their love and support of each other through it all. They have two wonderful boys Derek Michael Rosino (age 8) and Dylan Paul Rosino (age 5). He was a wonderful father who enjoyed every aspect of being a “Dad” to his boys. His dedication to making their lives special from coaching baseball, daily schoolwork, and being a fun-loving Dad each and every day was the joy of his life.
Gregory had the biggest heart and had a gentle spirit. He was quick with his wit and liked to make people laugh and feel special. He loved playing pranks and enjoyed the laughter of others. His love for people was why he was successful finding dream homes for those he worked with as a real estate agent working in the family-owned business.
Gregory loved sports and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, New York Jets, New York Rangers, and all University of Oklahoma Sports. His love of sports was so deep that his phone was filled with texts, constant sports alerts and his TV was never absent of a sporting event.
In his spare time, Gregory greatly cherished his opportunity to fish. He enjoyed sending selfies to Krystale in the middle of the day with a bass fish he caught in hand and a proud smile even though he knew he would be teased for catching the same fish again. He was always in search of new ponds and fishing holes to explore.
Gregory will be greeted in heaven by his loving Grandma, Sherry Riffle with a “Slurpie” in hand who adored and cherished him, and his grandfather Pete Rosino, and other loving family and friends. Left to cherish his love and memories are his wife Krystale Rosino, and their sons Derek and Dylan Rosino; his father Paul Rosino and his mother Kathy Rosino; his younger brother Joshua Rosino; as well as his Grandparents Ann “Nanny” Oliva and “Pop” Frank Oliva and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Gregory leaves behind many loving friends as well.
Friends may pay their respects during the viewing at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 N. Porter, from 10 am to 8 pm on Wednesday; July 7th. The family will be available to visit with friends from 5 pm – 7 pm during the viewing.
A Celebration of Gregory’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Victory Family Church, 4343 N. Flood Ave in Norman. Gregory will be laid to rest in Sunset Cemetery.
Gregory will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the Scholarship Fund of Derek and Dylan Rosino at Exchange Bank, P.O. Box 797, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
