Jean was born on May 30, 1949, in Redding, California, to Lyle and Rita (Gerhart) Kellogg. She grew up in California before moving to Oregon, where she lived until 2023, when she relocated to Norman, Oklahoma.
A devoted Christian, Jean attended Multnomah School of the Bible and cherished her faith throughout her life. On October 26, 1968, she married the love of her life, Robert Collinson, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and companionship.
Jean was known for her passion for crafting, creating, decorating, and beautifying everything around her. Her perfect day was spent doing what she loved most, creating beautiful decorations for everyone to enjoy. Her favorite color was emerald green, reflecting the vibrancy she brought to her life and to those around her. She had a deep love for hymns, which brought her comfort and joy.
Jean was a woman who loved with her whole heart and gave generously of her time and talents to help others. Above all, she treasured her family. Her greatest accomplishment, in her own words, was raising her daughter, Angela, whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Collinson; her daughter, Angela Brown, and grandson, Josiah Brown of Norman, Oklahoma; her brother Richard Kellogg and his spouse Wanda of Redding, California; sisters Alice White and her spouse Bill of Jacksonville, Oregon, and June Kellogg of Mt.
