John Hellings Chambers, age 77, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. John was born September 23, 1946 in Bristol, PA as one of three sons to Frank and Jane (West) Chambers.
John grew up with his brothers George and Harold in Bristol, PA.
He was as assembly worker for GM Motors. John was part of the Army Reserves from November 3, 1969 to May 12, 1972. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Marksman Badge with rifles in his time in the military.
John is preceded in death by his parents and brother George Chambers. Those left to cherish his memory is his brother Harold Chambers, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 10AM at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma.
