

Wade was born to George and Teresa Picek on July 24, 1954 in Lawton. He graduated from Lawton High School. In 1991 he married the love of his life, Debbie Brown. To this union he brought his 5 year old daughter, Kimberly Dawn and together they had Kaitlin Nicole in 1993. Wade worked as a plumber for 15 years and then worked another 15 years at Lormar, an oil reclamation business started by his brothers. Wade had a strong work ethic and was handy working with tools repairing anything that needed fixed. He loved his family and especially family vacations with his wife and children. He was a wonderful father and a best friend to his wife. Wade and Debbie loved to travel and enjoyed long trips to the East and West Coast. He was a man of his word and loved people. He especially enjoyed playing cards or dominoes with friends.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents, George and Teresa Picek and by his in-laws, Fermon and Billie Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie of 25 years and his daughters: Kimberly and Ryan Beebout and their children Austin, Brody and McKenna; Kaitlin and her son Jordon. He is also survived by five siblings: Nick and Paula Picek; Teci Candy; Mimi and Alan Shanks; Bob and Julie Picek; and his brother Joe Picek as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he adored.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sholer, Dr. Khan and Dr. E-Lam for their excellent care at Baptist Integris. Memorials can be sent to the Oklahoma Kidney Foundation in honor of Wade who received two kidney transplants.
Services will be Monday October 3, 2016, at McFarlin United Methodist Church at 10:00am. Graveside services to follow after a short greeting in the McFarlin Atrium at The Norman I00F Cemetery.
Public visitation will be on Saturday October 1, 2016, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Sunday October 2, 2016, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm at Primrose Funeral Service.
