Joyce Elaine Brown

She was born July 29, 1946 in Mangum, OK to John Wesley and Wanda Joy Phillips Price. Joyce loved cats, sewing; making quilts, going to yard sales and thrift stores. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new things to explore. She taught herself photography even making her own dark room in her home. Her family enjoyed her baking and cake decorating skills. She always had a garden and enjoyed canning. She was a can do person, anything she did not how to do she would learn and do it with excellence. Above all she loved her family especially her grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Peggy (Tony) Lairson of Norman, Clint (Teresa) McGregor of Norman; grandchildren: Levi Lairson, Amanda (Don) Sampson, Dalton (Chelsea) Lairson, Chris (Jenna) McGregor, Clay (Lindsey) McGregor, Heather McGregor, Maggie McGregor, McKenna McGregor; 14 great grandchildren; siblings: Linda (Don) Fletcher, John Price; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; baby brother at birth; brother: Ron Price.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Primrose Funeral Service, Norman. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday April 27, 2017 at Delhi Cemetery, Sayre, OK.
