Karen Jean Iverson

Karen was born on August 27, 1955, in Oklahoma City to Fred and Viola B. (January) Iverson. She grew up in Moore and graduated from Moore High School in 1973. She went on to pursue a career as a bookkeeper in the banking industry and later worked as a medical encoder. Karen was known for her incredible sewing skills and she enjoyed crafting baby blankets and clothes for friends and family. She had a special place in her heart for children and animals, and she radiated compassion and love, always putting others before herself.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Viola Iverson.

Karen was survived by her brother, Mark Iverson; sister, Linda Wood and husband Dan; nephew, Jeremy Wood; beloved cocker spaniel, Kassie; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Primrose Funeral Service. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Primrose Funeral Service, with Pastor David Chancellor officiating.
