Karl Perry Buettner, 53, of Norman, died Thursday, January 12, 2012. Karl was born December 22, 1958 to Paul V. and Winona Bannister Buettner in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was a graduate of Norman High School in 1977.
Karl went to Florida and lived in Miami before moving to Orlando where he worked maintenance for Walt Disney World for 13 years. He returned to Norman in 2010. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
Karl is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters Dennis Buettner and wife Taska, John Buettner and John Dole, Nicky Lambert and husband Ken, and Tammy Muller and husband Gary; nieces Stephanie, Courtney, and Lindsey Buettner, Danielle Lambert , Samantha Chain; and nephew Justin Muller.
