Ken was born on December 21, 1948, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, to Kenneth Paul Gould and Virginia Lee (Parker) Gould. He grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Norman High School in 1967.
Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970. After his military service, he worked as an auto parts salesman before finding his true calling in trim carpentry, where he was known for his craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and honesty.
Ken was first married to Lois Gould, until her passing. He later married Janet Gould, who survives him and shared many cherished years by his side.
A man of faith, Ken was a devoted member of Friendship Pentecostal Church, where he enjoyed worship and fellowship. His favorite music was Southern gospel and quartet music, which brought him comfort and joy. In his free time, Ken loved the outdoors, gardening, yard work, and shelling pecans to give away, a simple act that reflected his generous spirit. He especially enjoyed going to church and serving others quietly.
Ken will be remembered as a giving, kind, and loving man, someone who showed his care through actions rather than words. Those who knew him learned the value of generosity, faith, and hard work through his example.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Gould, his parents, and his brother-in-law, Rev. Larry Wood.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Gould; his children Paul Gould and wife Misty, Lisa Gould, bonus son Danny Wilson and wife Jennifer Gould, and bonus daughter Jana Gordon and husband Joshua Gordon; and multiple grandchildren. Ken is also survived by his sister, Judy Wood, and is lovingly remembered by one niece and one nephew, along with extended family and friends. Ken is also remembered fondly by his loyal fur baby, Lucy, who brought him much companionship.
Ken’s life was a testament to faith, family, and quiet generosity, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
