

Lairen graduated in 2016 from Norman High School. In Lairen’s free time, she loved listening to music, such as Maroon 5 and Juice Wrld, reading, shopping, attending concerts, eating at Olive Garden, journaling, laughing at Scary Movie 3 and Schitt’s Creek, and creating art. Lairen loved being silly and laughing with her children, joking around with friends and family, dancing, crystals, poetry, cats, collecting, decorating, and her family. Lairen was an incredible artist, mathematician, and poet.
Lairen taught so many people resilience, perseverance, and empathy.
Those left to cherish Lairen’s memory are her children Oaklyn Tanner and Saylem Jolene Lamont Tanner of Norman, Oklahoma; mother Sara Lamont and stepfather John Lamont of Belton, Missouri; father Lucas Tanner; brothers Dominic Petkus of Lubbock, Texas and Elie John Joseph of Belton, Missouri; sisters Lainey Puertolas and husband René of Salt Lake City, Utah and Everett Elaine Belen Lamont of Belton, Missouri; maternal grandparents John and Carol Drayton; paternal grandparent Regina Tanner; aunts Christina Stuart, Catherine Hardy, Chelsea Williams, and Shannon Drayton; uncles Michael Drayton, Steve Hardy, Sean Stuart, Quincy Tanner, and Jeremy Tanner; and numerous cousins.
Lairen will always be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend, and artist.
A funeral service for Lairen will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.
