Larry served his country as a Marine with pride, honor, and loyalty. Larry was a wonderful Entrepreneur, who was very dedicated and hard working. Larry had an extensive career throughout his years from being the youngest Vice President of a bank in Norman in 1973 and founded one of the largest Property Management Companies in the state, McSha Properties.
Larry was also a member of Kiwanis Club and the American Legion.
Larry was a man of many adventures during his lifetime which included sailing and fishing. He could also take life easy with a good book in his lap or on a date with his wife Judy at the movies. Larry and Judy’s retirement home was in Port Isabel, Texas beginning in 2001. Together, they enjoyed fishing, dolphins, and sunsets.
He shared these passions with family and spent his life doing the things he loved as only a man with so much energy can. Everyone will remember some piece of Larry’s life that made an impact on theirs. Looking back, we can see Larry riding three wheelers with his kids out in the pasture, having a beer with his father in law out on the lake and running jug lines, or fishing with his uncle. He also would stroll the streets of Salem with Judy while taking in the festivities on Halloween or laughing and captivating us all with his commanding presence.
The family would like to thank Moira and Tori for helping with Larry's care.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
