Michael Dee Higgins Jr.

Michael Dee Higgins Jr., 29, of Noble, OK, died unexpectedly Sunday January 29, 2012.Michael was born November 18, 1982, in Norman, Oklahoma to Michael and Carol (Ellis) Higgins. He graduated from Noble High School in 2001, and attended college at OCCC. He worked as a waiter in various places before becoming an electrician apprentice, which he loved. We lost a father, a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend. He brought joy to so many people's lives. He had a keen sense of humor and was fiercely competitive. He enjoyed watching sports, particularly OU football. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and especially his fiancé Tristan. Michael's greatest accomplishment in life is his daughter, Payton Jada. She was the love of his life and spoke of her frequently with such joy and admiration. He is survived by his daughter, Payton Higgins of Yuma, Arizona; his parents Michael and Carol Higgins of Noble, OK; Sisters, Melissa & Austin Stewart of Mustang, OK & Susie & Chad Hillis of Maysville, OK; Nieces & Nephews, Jessica Stewart, Taylor Hillis, Seth Hillis, Brianna Stewart and AJ Stewart along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, L.D. & Edith Higgins and grandmother, Nancy Phillips & his uncles Larry Higgins, Ronnie Ellis & Joe Steadman. Services will be held Saturday February 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Home in Norman, OK. Viewing will be after 2p on Thursday with family receiving guest between 5-7p on Friday.
