

Patricia Ann McMahon was born in Port Huron, Michigan, on December 28, 1928. She was the daughter of Lyndon and Pearl (Sly) Davies. She grew up in Port Huron, Michigan, attending Port Huron Public Schools. At the age of 10 years she moved with her family to Pontiac, Michigan, where she attending Pontiac Public Schools graduating Pontiac High School in 1947. Following education she married John McMahon in 1948 and they made their home in Detroit, Michigan, where she served her family as a homemaker. She also worked for the Chrysler and RG Dun Factories. In 1970 they moved to Norman where she owned a children’s clothing store, she also worked at Target and Norman Highschool. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always told everyone that her grandchildren ‘were the apple of her eye”. She volunteered at Norman Regional Hospital, and was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was nominated Woman of The Month. She enjoyed water walking at the YMCA, china painting, and was in the golden ages club.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her infant brother.
She is survived by her sons, John McMahon and wife Sue of Clinton Township, Michigan, and Jim McMahon and wife Cindy, of Norman; daughters, Christine McMahon of Norman, Terry Green and husband Eric of Norman, and Mary Elwell and husband Carlos of Norman; twelve grandchildren ten great grandchildren; and two sisters, Jenne Corniuk, of Meturne, on the Lake, Ohio, and Virginia Rutledge of Lexington, Kentucky.
