

Phyllis Joanne (Beitler) Kimble, 70 of Newalla went to be with the Lord on Oct. 9th 2011 in Norman, OK. She was born Feb. 16th 1941 in Coldwater, KS to Audrey & Paul Wayne Beitler Sr. Phyllis graduated high school from Cheney, KS in 1959. While in high school she was active in the band and was a drum majorette. She lived in Kansas and Arkansas before moving to Oklahoma in 1960. Mrs. Kimble was an active member of several Southern Baptist Churches during her lifetime. She loved teaching the children’s classes and singing in the choir. Phyllis worked in the mental health field for a number of years in Anadarko, Ft. Supply, and Norman, OK.
She married her sweetheart Kenneth Kimble on Jan. 2nd 2001. Mrs. Kimble was preceded in death by her parents and a son Cleve Newton. Phyllis was survived by her husband of the home; daughter Vicki VanScoder and husband Doyle of Anadarko; Sons Steve Newton and wife Debbie of Cement; Jimmy Newton and wife Robin of Vinita; and a special son Mike Sanders and wife Debbie of Irving, TX; and special nephew Darrell Martin and wife Cecile of Newalla; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also had 2 very special furry babies, Sudi and Boomer.
Funeral services will be held Wed. Oct. 12th 2011 at 2pm at Primrose Funeral Chapel with interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
