Rick Peschka

He was born March 9th, 1946, in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of the late Betty and John Peschka. He was the 4th oldest of 8 siblings. On November 19th, 2012, he married Nina Honeyman, who survives.

He graduated from Bishop Kelley high school in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1964. Rick was a lifelong OU Sooner fan holding season tickets for many years, participating in auctions with a foundation to raise money for the school. He worked for Phillips 66, but spent most of his life in transportation for 39+ years in many facets of the industry with his last job in sales of 18 years with Add-On systems out of Oklahoma City. Rick loved to play golf while not good he gave it his all each time keeping sod farms employed, while inheriting a new vocabulary along the way. He will miss most his therapists / pets Mutt and Jeff who loved him unconditionally as much as he did them.

He is survived by his spouse, Nina Peschka of the home; son, Marc Peschka (Tara) of Tulsa Oklahoma.; son, Jon Peschka (Jeanie) of Yukon, step-daughter Tina Stone (Tony) of Inola OK.; step-daughter Meegan Honeyman (Brenda Haney) of Lubbock TX.; Okla.; brother Don Peschka (Claudine) of Fredericksburg VA.; brother Duane Peschka (Linda) of Norman OK.; brother Jim Peschka (Karen) of Neosho MO.; brother Dennis Peschka (Martie) of Tulsa OK.; brother Terry Peschka (Debbie) of Broken Arrow OK.; sister Mary Peschka (Chuck) of Broken Arrow OK.; along with 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren..

Mr. Peschka was preceded in death by his brother Gary and his parents Betty and John Peschka.

A memorial service for Richard will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.
