Ronnie was born on December 30, 1943, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Christie J. Doyle and Mary Jon (Vanness) Doyle. His family moved to Oklahoma in 1945, where he spent the majority of his life serving his community with generosity, humor, and grace.
A proud graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Ronnie pursued a long and distinguished career as a pharmacist. His dedication to his profession earned him an honorary Doctor of Pharmacy degree and the Oklahoma Pharmacy Association's prestigious 50 Years of Service Award. Ronnie was not only a man of science but also of deep faith. A longtime member of Etowah Baptist Church since 1990, he combined his professional expertise with his spiritual calling by founding and running a local charity pharmacy through his church, a true reflection of his selflessness and compassion.
Ronnie was a member of the Lions Club, the Oklahoma Pharmaceutical Association, and the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. Beyond his professional and civic achievements, Ronnie was known for his infectious sense of humor. His love for practical jokes, satire, and slapstick comedy brought endless joy to those around him. He taught those who knew him to take life a little less seriously, to laugh often, and to live with patience and generosity.
On August 27, 1986, Ronnie married the love of his life, Deborah Strecker. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Ronnie had a deep love for spending time with his children and grandchildren camping and fishing especially trout fishing in Colorado and taking walks with his beloved dog, Steve.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah, of the home; his children, Michael Doyle of Del City, OK; Karen Prior and her husband Dave of Austin, TX; Mary Lujan and her husband Ray of Moore, OK; and Ryan Doyle and his wife Kadren of Prague, OK. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Logan, Katie, Max, Xander, Luke, and Clifford as well as his sister-in-law, Betty Dawson Doyle of Irving, TX, two nieces, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Christie and Mary Jon Doyle, and his brother, Chris Doyle.
Ronnie will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, boundless love for family, service to others, and the joy he brought into every room. His legacy is one of laughter, kindness, and faithful dedication to the people and communities he loved. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel, with Joe Baxter officiating. The family will receive friends during visitation on Wednesday, July 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
