

A celebration of life for longtime Norman resident, Rosemary White Neal will be held at the IOOF Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma on Monday, October 29, 2018. In accordance with Rosemary’s request, there will be a private family graveside.
Rosemary was born on November 9, 1946 in Norman, Oklahoma to Frank Wesley and Anna Lucille (Rose) White and passed away at Lexington Nursing Home in Lexington, Oklahoma on October 26, 2018 at the age of 71.
She was a 1965 graduate of Norman Senior High School in Norman, Oklahoma where she participated in the chorus and musical theatre. After graduation, Rosemary worked as a secretary at the School of Nursing at the University of Oklahoma; secretary for the Potter County Sheriff in Amarillo, Texas; and secretary for the Cleveland County Sheriff in Norman, Oklahoma. Organizations in which she was member include: lifetime member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls; Sweet Adelines International; Lions Club of Amarillo, Texas; and First Christian Church of Norman, Oklahoma.
Rosemary was preceded in death by grandparents: Robert F. and Mary Ellen Rose, Oscar C. and Bertha White; parents, Frank W and Anna Lucille White; and brother-in-law, David L. Chenoweth.
She is survived by sister, Luann (Joe) McCoy of Brenham, Texas, brother, Frank (Peggy) White of Norman, Oklahoma, sister, Marilyn Chenoweth of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Association.
