Sandra (Greer) Russell of Norman entered eternal rest on April 27, 2019 at the age of 80. She was born in Endicot, NY on November 2, 1938 to Earl and Fostine (Breman) Greer with early labor during the Orson Wells War of the Worlds radio show.
Sandra attended high school at Union Endicot in 1957 and worked for Linx in drafting and was proud to work on the Apollo Moon Flights, in her later years she worked as a bus monitor for Norman Public Schools. Sandra took pride in working in paint design at United Design. In 1968 Sandra and Ralph G. Russell were united in marriage and met through her parents at the Glendale Beagle Club in Broome County, NY. They had 48 years together before his passing on February 20, 2016. When Sandra was younger she helped raise Shetland ponies with her sisters, she also enjoyed art, gardening, working with her Koi pond and loved butterflies. Sandra loved her dogs and loved to travel, especially cruising with Donna and Walt Champlin along with other family.
Preceding Sandra in death are her parents, Earl and Fostine; husband, Ralph and many beloved extended family members.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Russell of Jordan, NY, David Russell of Norman, OK; sisters, Sharon Hollister of Port Crane, NY, Connie Feichtinger of Mebane, NC; grandchildren, Danielle Russell of Syracuse, Nicole Russell of Indianapolis; honorary son, Keith Synnott of New Castle; her black lab Pepper of 12 years along with numerous other family and friends.
