Wayne Alan Dodd

He was born January 7, 1980 in Mena, Arkansas to Mathew and Leslie (Hampton) Dodd. On May 21, 2005 he married Katie Burdette in Oklahoma City.

Wayne was an outdoors man. He enjoyed hunting arrowheads, metal detecting, hiking, and exploring in the woods. He was best known for his ability to solve problems. Whether it was technical or construction he had a way of figuring things out. He graduated from Community Christian High School and later became a certified machinist, welder, and welding inspector. Above all he loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Katie and their daughters: Fayleen and Fallyn Dodd; parents: Matt and Leslie Dodd; sister Jennifer and her husband Chad Ashworth; nephews Eli and Easton Ashworth; father and mother in law Doug and Julie Burdette; grandparents: Pat Hampton, Fred and Cindi Hampton, Jay and Careen Dodd; along with many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Johnnie Lee Dodd.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00a.m. Thursday November 2, 2017 at Harvest Church, 6540 36th Ave NW, Norman, OK 73072. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Norman, OK. Pastor Jeff Burns will officiate.
