Amma was known as Florence in Canada and the UK, and as Ramani in India. Much loved and respected by her family and friends, she was an amazing cook, knitter, traveler, and a fierce Scrabble player (just ask Ethel, Karen, and Ranji!) She was a trained physical education teacher, a quiet but devout Christian, and a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church. She always made time to spend with friends, and has proudly maintained friendships for over 50 years.
Funeral Service was held on Monday, November 10, 2014, from the Chapel of Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home with Ron Dewald officiating. Cremation took place following the service. If friends so desire, donations in Florence's memory may be made to Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry Inc., PO Box 908, Bellmar, New Jersey 08099, OR to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1302-99th Street, North Battleford, S9A 0P8.
