Rita was pre-deceased by her parents, George Lamote and Alice Lamote-Schouteeten; sister, Godelieve De Maertelaere; two brothers in infancy; her brother-in-laws,

Aimé De Maertelaere and Guy Lacoursiere;

as well as many aunts and uncles.

The Vigil of Prayer was held Fenruary 16, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. from St. Joseph Calasanctius Roman Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial was held February 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from St Joseph Calasanctius Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Father Val Besas the Celebrant. Burial took place at Woodlawn Cemetery, North Battleford.

Memorial Donations to The Canadian Cancer Society, Battlefords Union Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, or masses are gratefully accepted.
