Alma Barbara Traub

Relatives and friends of Alma Traub are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Elevator Fund First Baptist Church of Goose Creek.

Alma was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 14, 1954. She was the daughter of Frank and Leah Krucek.

She loved the Lord and giving hugs. Alma was known as the hugger of her church at First Baptist Goose Creek and loved singing in the Choir. She would be found running around taking pictures of events, nature, and anywhere she was traveling to.

Alma is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dale Traub; her sons, Kenneth David Traub (Dorraine) and John Paul Traub; daughter, Kristal Lynn Traub; grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Amsden and Ethan Caleb Traub; her brother, Frank Krucek; her sister, Ceclia Hattula; Loved by many nieces, nephews, and those that she “adopted” wherever she went. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy “Dotty” Krucek and Myra McKinley; her brothers, William “Billy” Krucek and Allen Krucek and her parents, Frank Krucek and Leah Krucek.
