Nora was the daughter of Augustin Martinez and Josefa Julia Sinclair of the Dominican Republic, moved to New York in September 1952 and became a United States citizen in July 1996.
Nora, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, is survived by her children Milady Delarosa, Milagro Imbert, Migali Delarosa, Josephine Rivera, Carmelo Rivera, Annette Rivera-Glover and Jose Rivera Jr.
She leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren, as well as many loving friends.
