Anna B Goodyear

Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 4990 Dorchester Road, North Charleston SC, with the Rev. Megan Gray and Rev. Suzanne Walker officiating.  

Anna Goodyear was born in Trapani, Sicily to Nicala and Elena Caltagirone on January 13, 1932. Her family moved to Morocco when she was a young child. She married Harold H. Goodyear on August 7, 1955, in Morocco. She worked as a beautician and seamstress most of her working career.

She was an Air Force spouse. She and Harold lived in Morocco, Savannah, GA, Little Rock, AR, Great Falls, MT, Forestville, MD, Washington, DC and Charleston, SC.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Goodyear; her son, George Goodyear; brothers, Francois Caltagirone and Paul Caltagirone; and her sisters, Catherine Caltagirone and Marriet Haerinck.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Lancaster and husband, Rick; daughter, Tenna Goodyear; sister, Rosette Scibilia; grandchildren, Jason (Ashley) Goodyear, Bradley (Haiden) Goodyear, Ross Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Bailey Goodyear, Dakota Goodyear, Parker Goodyear, Sawyer Goodyear, and Jane Goodyear; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Cokesbury United Methodist Church and Alzheimer’s Research Disease.
