Relatives and friends of Anne Fisk are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Pinecrest Baptist Church, 1285 Ashley Hall Road, Charleston, South Carolina. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Anne was born in Charleston on April 19, 1943, the daughter of William Frederick and Annie Watts Newton. She graduated from St. Paul’s High School in 1961. She married the love of her life, William “Bill” Fisk in 1966, enjoying 58 wonderful years together. Anne began her professional career at State Savings and Loan and later worked alongside her husband in the family business, Fisk Automotive Machine Shop. Her true calling, however, was being a devoted homemaker who centered her life around her family. Anne was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend.
She was a long-time member of Pinecrest Baptist Church, where her faith guided her daily life. Anne was especially dedicated to the church nursery ministry, caring for generations of children with patience, gentleness, and joy. Her legacy of love and service is woven into the lives of those she touched. She found great joy in preparing home-cooked meals and favorite dishes for her family. Anne also cherished time spent dining out and sharing laughter with her close circle of friends. She enjoyed sewing, time at the beach, and the companionship of her beloved dog, Muffin.
Anne is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Fisk, and their three children: Kelly Owens (Dan) of Hanahan; Susan Krombach (Steve) of Mansfield, Texas; and Scott Fisk (Nicole) of Holly Hill. Her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren: Marley and Parker Owens; Lauren, Ryan, and Andrew Krombach; and Arina and Jack Fisk. She is also survived by nephews, Allen Newton, Dwayne Fisk, and niece, Katherine Fisk. Anne is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, William “Bill” Newton and Truman Newton. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
