Bambi Lynn Padlan

Bambi Lynn Padlan was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma/MawMaw/NaNa, and friend during her almost 65 years of life. She transitioned to the afterlife peacefully, wrapped in love and in the presence of her family, in the early hours of Monday, October 10, 2022.

We will remember Bambi for her absolute and complete stubbornness, her comical OCD, her willingness to say exactly what’s on her mind, and her determination to have the most beautiful home she could possibly have. Even if that meant a home redo or new furniture every six months until she was satisfied. More importantly though, Bambi will be remembered for her incredibly giving, and loving nature. She loved her people fiercely and made sure you knew you were loved. She loved her babies Sadie, Autumn, and Tom Petty like no other k9id mom could. She is now reunited with her babies Nellie and Lacy, whom she loved and missed terribly.

She loved her people so much, and made you feel like you were her favorite. She loved her family and friends and often adopted people into her world and made them true family.

Bambi is the daughter of Phyllis E. Kohler and Robert E. Roth. Phyllis and Bob had several children. Dan E. Roth, Cinda F. Campbell, and Robin E. Robinson. Bambi was the third daughter. She was the baby a mama’s girl, the “good kid”, and the favorite for seventeen years, until her spoiled brat little sister Danielle D. Freeman was born, after their mother remarried.

Bambi loved her brother and sisters immensely, even though growing up she would be the first to run and tell mom what Danny, Cinda, or Robin did. She had a unique and special bond with each one. She also loved her nieces and nephews dearly.

Bambi met the love of her life in highschool Jon Padlan,when she was 14 years old, along with her life long friends Jackie and David Saul. Jon and Bambi married in 1975. They had two children, Phillip J. Padlan, and Leah J. Padlan. Jon has been the most amazingly loving and doting husband for 47 years. She loved and adored Jon.

Bambi loved being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was first made a grandmother by Phillip J. Padlan and Tina Howard. First was Kaitlyn M. Padlan. She was Bambi’s first princess. Followed by Dakota J. Padlan. Phillip then gave Bambi the gift of more grandkids to love, with Melissa Padlan. Taylor, Darian, and Ayden. Darian and her husband Jordan Brown gifted her more souls to love. The first born Bentley, whom she holds in her arms now, followed by Brynlee, Ensley, and James Brown.

Kaitlyn, Bambi’s first granddaughter gifted her not only a great grandson named Asher Jon, but also another granddaughter with her best friend, Ashton Thomas.

Bambi and Jon also took over the role of NaNa and Gunkle to their niece Piper H. (Daughter of Bambi’s sister Danielle) to fill in for Nanny who had passed in 2004.

Bambi fought an incredible battle to stay on this earth. She wasn’t afraid to cross to the other side. She was at peace in her beliefs, and she knew she would be welcomed with open arms by God and her loving and waiting mother.

Bambi loved her family and friends. She will be missed, but she will continue to be loved and cherished by everyone she touched.
