Ms. Barbara P Lasseter

Barbara P. Lasseter ,78, of North Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in the comfort of her home. She is the widow of Donald “Rabbit” Lasseter. She was born on December 31, 1937 in Ocala, Florida. She is the daughter of the late Clara Parker Perry and the late Leonard D. Perry. She is survived by two daughters , Julie Lasseter Yeager (Stan) of James Island and Laurie Lasseter Braun (Scott) of Summerville. Barbara has three grand children, Stephanie Newman (Ricky) of Jedburg, Mallory Cowart Woodfin (Jamison) of Charlotte, NC , and Jason Daniel Cowart of Charlotte, NC. She has three great grandchildren, Selah Harbor Woodfin, Rider Hudson Woodfin, and Tanner Cohen Woodfin, and a very special friend, Denise Cox Hackney. Barbara was a stay at home mom and housewife. She loved reading but most of all her family was her priority. She loved her grands and great grands. Seeing them brightened her days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her grave side service on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Park. After the service the family will have a celebration of her life at her home at 4628 Darlene Street, N. Chas. SC, 29405.
