Betty Lois Walton

Relatives and friends of Betty Walton are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 12 Noon, Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the graveside, Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406.

Betty was born in Newberry, South Carolina on June 19, 1935. She was the daughter of Van and Sarah Pitts Walton. They moved to Charleston and founded Port Park Rollerdrome Skating Rink. Betty attended North Charleston High School where she met, and later married, Floyd R. Moore, Jr. “Buck”. She became a computer programmer for Colleton County until her retirement.

She is survived by her children, Sandy Moore Davidson, Craig Douglas Moore and Crystal Lynn Hill; grandchildren, William Davidson, John Davidson, Brent Hill, Blake Hill, Crysten Mintz, Courtney Pruitt and Roman Hill; 15 great grandchildren; her sister, Patsy Walton and several nieces and nephews. Betty is predeceased by her parents; her sisters Ann Clifton and Vanette Cowart and her daughter, Desiree Moore.
