Born on March 1, 1924, to Clifton and Myrtle Hathcock in Arkansas. Married in 1943 to Marion Dudley, they made the Charleston area their home raising their four sons: Marion “Ted” Jr., Richard “Dicky”, Donnie “Bogater”, and Mark. Bonnie worked at the Charleston Shipyard where she became an expert in shorthand writing. She proudly served alongside her husband during his terms as the Mayor of Hanahan.
