Carolyn T Classen

Summerville -Carolyn Classen was born September 1st, 1940 in Cades, South Carolina to the her parents Marion and Helen Tanner. Carolyn entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at her home in Summerville, SC. Carolyn resided with her granddaughter Megan and three great grand children, Edward, Samuel and Brystol Bryant. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Richard Classen, her son Richard Allan Classen Jr., her mother and father Marion and Helen Tanner, and sister Gloria Platt. Surviving is her Daughter Lisa Hickman, two brothers Marion and Michael Tanner, grandchildren, Allan Hickman, Nicholas Hickman, Megan Bryant, and Christopher Hickman, and three great grand children, Edward, Samuel and Brystol Bryant. Carolyn devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She has touched the lives of many and has been a true inspiration. Her name, honor, and devotion will live on through the lives she has touched. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 5 until 7 pm with the life well celebrated service at 7pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel. A graveside service will be on Wednesday 3 pm at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston.
